Yurt and Wagon Holidays
CORONOVIRUS We are sorry to say, that because of the complications of the virus we are closing our furnished yurts for the rest of the year. The Wagon will remain open and guests will have exclusive use of one shower and loo. We have a site for self contained campers with access to compost loo and two yurts and one straw bale room will be available – completely empty – for hire by campers. There is one small field available to campervans (no caravans) . The bus will remain closed for the season except to small groups camping together and responsible for its upkeep. We hope to return to normal next year and will really miss seeing many friends.

Not fit for the glampers but perfect for those wanting a down to earth experience on a fascinating hill sheep farm and with a curiosity about the natural world and our heritage. Great for kids with a sense of adventure who want to run wild or for adults who want to learn more about sustainable living .
We have two yurt sites available on the farm, each set in its own private location. You can book them from Mondays to Fridays or Fridays to Mondays or for a whole week (Starting Monday or Friday). The wagon can be booked on any day.

You will cook and eat in Merlin’s bus. (Though the wagon has simple cooking facilities which are useful when the bus is closed – Oct – March) It is a 50m walk from most of the yurts, kitted out with everything you will need for cooking, electricity, charging points, fridge and more.
There are hot showers and toilets in the farmyard, or a compost loo near the bus.
