The Goods Wagon

More spacious than a shepherd’s hut but a similar feel, rustic. This wagon was built around 1900 and has been lined and insulated  for comfort while keeping its original character. It has a truly beautiful view over the farm and uninhabited valleys beyond, a small balcony with fire bowl for cooking outside. Inside is a double bed and wood burning stove. There’s a small kitchen with basic cooking equipment. There is no electricity – tea lights are provided for soft lighting.  There is a compost loo beside the wagon or a 70m walk down to the loos and hot showers in the farmyard.

The Wagon is suitable for a couple. It can be booked for any night for around £45. There’s a £30 service fee for the first night – so don’t book a single night!  Around  £200 for a week.
